The Lions had a 7-game winning streak of their own, and they looked poised to beat the Browns again in the NFL Championship game for the third year in a row, after defeating the Browns in the last game of the regular season. However, the Browns surprised everyone with a 56-10 blowout over Detroit in the NFL Championship game.
