0-0 tie. The Bills didn't do much on offense, but did manage just enough to squeeze out a 10-7 victory. In the NFC, the Redskins had no trouble with the Lions, as they crushed them 41-10, setting up the match-ups for Super Bowl XXVI. The Redskins defeated the Bills by the score of 37–24, becoming the fourth team after the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Oakland Raiders, and the San Francisco 49ers to win three Super Bowls. The Redskins jumped to a 24–0 lead early in the third quarter, from which the Bills could not recover. Washington also sacked Kelly four times and intercepted him four times.
