1932 EFL
1932 was the one and only season for the Eastern Football League. It would be part of the formulation of the American Association in 1936. The AA would be a Semi-Pro Football league, which would not compete directly with the NFL, but would be more of a farm system for the NFL Clubs. Such was the case with the 1932 EFL. On the field, it would be very tightly contested between the top three teams: the New Rochelle Bulldogs (4-1-2), the Passaic Blue Devils (4-2-0), and the Paterson Night Hawks (4-2-0), would be separated by only a half of a game. As was the case in those days, there was no playoff system, so the Champion was determined by the regular season win/loss records. As a result, the New Rochelle Bulldogs were crowned Champions of the 1932 Eastern Football League.
