1933 IFL
1933 was the one and only season for the Interstate Football League. It would be part of the formulation of the American Association in 1936. The AA would be a Semi-Pro Football league, which would not compete directly with the NFL, but would be more of a farm system for the NFL Clubs. Such was the case with the 1933 IFL. On the field, the season would be dominated by the Reading Keys, who would finish the season undefeated at 4-0-1. Their only serious competition would be the Passaic Red Devils (5-2-1). Since there were no playoffs at that time, the team with the best winning percentage was crowned IFL Champions. As a result, the Reading Keys were the 1933 IFL Champions.
